Kerry Getz

Born: June 10th, 1975 (38 years old)

Getz medaled in the 2000 and 2001 X Games and received a gold medal in the first street skateboarding X-Games event. Getz also placed 1st in the Tampa Pro 2000 and the VANs Triple Crown Finals. Getz owns a skateboard shop in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, called Nocturnal Skateshop. He has been skateboarding since the age of nine. He is also one of the few skateboarders to do a kickflip and a frontside 180 over the Love Park Fountain Gap. Kerry is known for his anger issues towards his skateboard, earning him the nick-name "Hockey Temper." He is also long-time friend of the CKY Crew.

Recently, Kerry Getz was voted as the current Battle Commander of The Berrics. The Berrics is a skatepark owned and run by Steve Berra (Professional Skateboarder), and Eric Koston, also a professional skateboarder. Berrics is a combination of their names.

Kerry's sponsors include: Habitat Skateboards, DVS Footwear, Nocturnal Skateshop, Royal Trucks and Mob Griptape.

Kerry has been in various skateboarding films such as, DVS's "Skate More", Habitat's "Mosaic" and "Inhabitants", Alien Workshop's "Photosynthesis", and Toy Machines "Jump off a building."
