Team Associated vehicles continue to dominate the tracks downunder with Ray Munday doing ‘ the triple’ at Round 2 of the Victorian Drivers series in Bendigo, regional Victoria.

99 entries were received for this event in the historic ‘goldrush’ town, the first time in 17 years that the series has been to Bendigo. The track was a slightly shortened 1:8 track with a sandy surface, big jumps and long lap times, putting a premium on all aspects of car performance.

After the dust settled, it was Team Associated Australian driver Ray Munday TQ-ing and winning 2WD Open with his Factory Team B4.1 Worlds Edition, 4WD Open with his Factory Team B44.1, and the 2WD SCT class with his Factory Team SC10. The combination of excellent forward traction, balanced handling, bump-riding ability, and the jumping performance of the Associated vehicles were able to sweep the buggy podiums (Scott Rawlings and young gun Glen Bonetti) as well as first and second in SCT.

The next round of the series will be held at the awesome Mildura track on the 11th June.
