During the month of March, the entire electric offroad racing scene revolves around the Pro-Line/Car Action Cactus Classic. Against over 350 entries that filled up within five days of the entry form release, Team Associated drivers Jared Tebo and Ryan Maifield won the prestigious 2WD Modified and 4WD Modified classes.

Using his LRP and Checkpoint-equipped Factory Team RC10B4, Jared won the first of the triple A Mains ahead of friendly rival Ryan Cavalieri and Associated/Reedy/Nosram driver Neil Cragg (from England).

The second main again had these three drivers battling for position, but this time Neil crossed with the win with Jared in second and Ryan in third.

Heading in to the third and final main, Jared and Neil both had first place finishes with the TQ Cavalieri needing a win to give himself a shot at the overall title. Early in the third main Cavalieri hit a pipe and allowed Associated/Reedy driver Ryan Maifield to get around and never look back. With Maifield's A3 win Tebo secured the overall win.

In the 4WD Class, Ryan Maifield's Reedy-powered BJ4 TQ'd three of the four rounds of qualifying and won the first two mains securing the Cactus Classic title. This marks the first major modified title for the J-Concepts BJ4. Look for more from this winning combination at the upcoming IFMAR Worlds.

Congratulations to also goes out to Aaron Lane who won 2WD Stock and Truck stock with his Checkpoint RC10B4 and T4, and Ben Bustamante, who won 2WD 19 Turn with his Reedy-powered B4.
