 November 18, 2006 Event Name: ROAR Region 4 Nitro Championships Event Location: Lutz, FL The 2006 ROAR Region 4 offroad championships was held at beautiful Lake Park in Lutz, FL. With the introduction of the GT2 the popularity of the 1:10 gas truck class has grown once again regionally. Jason Ruona continued the winning tradition of the newly released Factory Team GT2 by winning the 45-minute A Main. Leon McIntosh and Ryan Eckert finished second and third respectively, producing a top three sweep for the Team Associated GT2. Overall, nine out of the ten trucks in the A Main were Associated gas trucks! Pictures: |
