Team Associated SC10 4x4 Dominates Reedy Truck Race of Champions

The Reedy Truck Race of Champions is a unique event on the racing schedule because it's for trucks only. Team Associated drivers Ryan Maifield, Ryan Cavalieri, Steven Hartson, and other team drivers descended upon the usually high-grip race track of Hot Rod Hobbies to battle for the titles up for grabs at the event.

With the popularity of 4WD Short Course growing like wildfire, the SC10 4x4 showed that it was the truck to beat. Team Associated's Ryan Cavalieri took his Pro-Line equipped SC10 4x4 to the pole position by setting the fastest time in two of the three qualifiers. Hot on his heels was his teammate, Ryan Maifield, with his JConcepts-outfitted SC10 4x4. These two drivers were the class of the field, setting the fastest times all weekend long and sitting first and second on the grid for the triple A-Main event. Also joining them in the A Main was Team Associated's Steven Hartson.

As the main events started, in A1 Maifield capitalized on a few uncharacteristic mistakes by Cavalieri and was able to drive his own race out in front. With a similar scenario playing out in A2, Maifield was crowned the overall champion of the Pro4 class at the Reedy Truck Race of Champions with his Reedy/LRP-powered SC10 4x4.
