The third stop of the Short Course Showdown series stopped at West Coast R/C Raceway in La Mirada, CA.  Many of the top pros as well and the quick local privateers in attendance meant that the event was stacked with a deep level of talent.

In Pro 4, Steven Hartson had been stalking the top spot all through qualifying, but just missed out on a front row start. A clean first few laps saw him pacing the leader until a mistake allowed Hartson by and into the lead. Hartson kept his Reedy/LRP-powered SC10 4x4 in front for the remainder of the race to claim the victory.

Hartson also showed his versatility with a second place finish in the Pro 2 category with his Reedy/LRP-powered SC10.

The final stop of the Short Course Showdown series takes place at Mike's Hobbies in Dallas, TX. With over 100 entries already filled in Pro 4 class alone, the event is shaking up to be a good one.
