 July 26, 2011 Event Name: 4wd IFMAR World Championship Event Location: Vaasa, Finland Event Date(s): July 22, 2011 to July 24, 2011 In a dominating display of speed and driving ability, Reedy factory driver Ryan Maifield set the fastest time in 3 out of the 4 rounds completed at the 2011 IFMAR World Championships to claim the coveted pole position for the three-leg final. Unable to match his qualifying pace, Ryan struggled a bit in final legs one and two but came back in leg three with a strong second place finish. Unfortunately Ryan just missed the podium and had to settle for a respectable 4th overall. Well represented in the Final, Reedy LiPo batteries also powered Neil Cragg and Lee Martin to 6th and 7th place finishes respectively. Congratulations drivers! Products used: |
