The final round of the Western Canadian Indoor Championship Series (WCICS) was held at the CARCAR club in Calgary, Alberta, with 151 entries in attendance.  The WCICS is the longest-running racing series in Western Canada.  It is hosted by four venues over the winter season in Alberta and Saskatchewan and is attended by a competitive field of racers from BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Montana, and the Dakotas.

The unforgiving track configuration at this season's final event was a hot topic of conversation throughout the weekend, requiring precision driving at high speeds to keep lap times down and to stay out of trouble.

In the 1/12 Super Stock A Main (10.5 boosted class), Associated/Reedy/LRP driver Peter Tozser built up a solid lead from pole position and scored a wire-to-wire win with his 12R5.1.  Ian Jones worked his way up from 5th qualifying spot to finish 2nd , with Ivan “Ironman” Chan rounding out the podium in 3rd.

In the Touring Super Stock A Main (13.5 boosted class), Peter Tozser and Korgae Scales (XRay, Canada) put on a show for the spectators with a close battle for the lead for the first few laps of the race.  Peter slipped by for the top spot on lap 6, and then drove to extend his lead and cruise his TC6 to victory.  Korgae hung onto 2nd spot, with Aaron Friend taking his ride to 3rd.

With these results, Peter Tozser also claimed the overall 2011 WCICS series championship in both the 1/12 Super Stock and Touring Super Stock classes.
