Winter Championship Race

It was the sixth Winter Championship Race in Stans, Switzerland. The track was fast today and all of the competitors were dialed. Olivier Merminod and Marc Heim displayed impressive competitive rounds during practice and we expected a rousing fight between these two drivers in the mains.

Olivier, with his speedy Team Associated 12R5.1, managed to gain the pole position after the three qualifying rounds. In the first main we saw an unbelievable fight between Marc and Olivier. Marc won the first A Final with 0.2 seconds in front of Olivier. Olivier rallied, though, and without making any mistakes, won the second and the third A Final and took the sixth Winter Championship Race.

HRC Team driver Olivier had won the first and the second A Final and took the fourth Winter Championship Race.
