The Jimmy Babcock Racing League electric series continued its 2015 season this past weekend and Team Associated/Reedy was in attendance. Making the trip from Arizona, Spencer Rivkin set the qualifying pace in 2WD Modified with his RC10B5M, while Jake Mayo was the class of the field in Truck Modified with his RC10T5M, and Nick Wautlet took the top qualifying position in 4WD Modified with his B44.3.

As the single-day event ran into the late evening, the A-Main events began to take the track. In the Truck Modified class, Jake Mayo delivered on his top-qualifying position to take the win by over 6 seconds with his RC10T5M Team Kit. In the premier 2WD Modified class, Rivkin led a 1-2-3RC10B5M Team Kit and Reedy podium sweep with Mayo second and Kody Numedahl third.

With over 260 entries for a one-day event, the JBRL series continues to showcase the popularity of electric off-road racing in Southern California. Make plans now for round #3 at the new SDRC Raceway in San Diego on May 23.
