2nd Annual Big Bend Shootout

Last weekend, the second annual Big Bend Shootout took place in Tallahassee, FL. 228 entries from across the south came out to battle for the titles in 1:10 and 1:8 offroad racing.

Blake Boggs was on hand from Alabama to produce some great results with his Team Associated vehicles and Reedy power. In 2WD Buggy, Blake and fellow Team Associated driver Brandon Melton had a great time battling throughout the race, swapping the lead back and forth. Melton made a late mistake over the large double and let Boggs by for the win. Melton took second for an AE 1-2 finish for the B5 rear-motor platform.

Blake also capped off a great weekend with podium finishes in the 1:8 E-buggy class with his RC8.2e and 1:8 Expert Nitro Buggy with his RC8.2. Nice job, Blake!
