Martin and RC8 win Euros B 2008

Team Associated/CML driver Lee Martin has powered his RC8 Factory Team car to the Euro's B Main title in Bergerac, France.

Lee drove his Byron GEN 2-fuelled car to the Top Qualifier position. After the qualification rounds he took a dominant win in his semifinal to give him the pole position on the grid for the main final.

Lee's car was sporting the new Big Bore shocks soon to be released as an option for the RC8 and these enabled him to drive fast and consistent for the duration of the 45-minute final. This pace was more than enough to see off the competition, and Lee brought the car home to record the first win for a British driver at a 1:8 off-road Euros.

Thanks to CML for this report.
