Munday and Selvaggi Win Keilor Cup!

Doubling as the third round of the popular Victorian Drivers Series, the Keilor Cup featured excellent competition with over 150 entrants in a variety of classes.  After a week of heavy rain, the Keilor track crew worked tirelessly to get the track ready for the August 11th race date. Their hard work paid off as the field was treated to a perfect surface with blue groove potential.

The modified classes were highly competitive with six previous national champions mixed in for good measure! However, at the end of the day it was AE/Reedy driver Ray Munday taking the win in 2WD Modified Buggy. Thanks to his well-handling B4.2 and powerful Reedy LiPo batteries, Ray was unbeaten in all qualifiers and won A1 and A2 by large margins. Ray's second-place finish in the 4WD Modified Buggy class capped off a successful weekend!

In the 10.5 Truck Class, Andrew Selvaggi followed his podium at the 2013 Nationals with a convincing win with his Reedy-powered T4.2.

Congratulations to all the winners and special thanks to the Keilor Club for hosting this memorable event.
