 January 15, 1998 Event Name: 12th Annual Cactus Classic Event Location: Arizona This annual event in Arizona had over 350 entries. Jim Gard won Top Qualifier honors with his RC10B3 car, and finished 2nd in the A Main. Scott Hughes took over the lead and went on to win the race with his RC10B3 car. Both drivers used Pro-Line tires and LRP speed controls. Scott used Reedy motors and batteries, while Jim used Peak power with Orion batteries. Pictures: |
