Round number three of the Short Course Showdown Nationwide Tour headed to series organizer and world-famous race announcer Scotty Ernst's Trackside Hobbies in Brookfield, Wisconsin. A new and challenging track configuration was created specifically for this event to showcase the increasingly popular short-course racing category.

Local factory Team Associated/Reedy/LRP driver Chad Due was the early favorite in the 4x4 Modified Short Course class. Driving an SC10 4x4 powered by a Reedy Sonic 550 motor, Reedy LiPo batteries, and an LRP Flow Works Team ESC, Chad topped the time sheets after four qualifying rounds.

A single 7-minute A Main would determine the champion, which made a clean start from the pole position critical. His competitors were hoping for a mistake, but the experienced Due made a clean start and led wire-to-wire for the win.

The series now heads to Mississippi for Round 4 where Chad will look to make it two in a row!
