Bremerton R/C Raceway in Bremerton, Washington hosted round 1 of the 2nd annual Pacific North West Showdown. Track owner Bryan Schoening and race promoter Marty Barnes put on an excellent event to kick off the severn-round series, traction was high and the stage was set for some intense battles.

The Pacific North West Showdown travels to four of the best racing facilities the Northwest has to offer. Round 2 will be held at the all-new Top Gear Hobbies in Portland, Oregon on December 8. For more information on the PNW Showdown series please visit: http://www.pnwshowdown.com/

Team Associated dominated round 1 of the PNW Showdown, taking the win in seven of the nine classes. Modified Buggy was dominated by Team Associated driver Luke Smith, who TQ'd and won each of the double A Mains with his Reedy-powered B4.1 Worlds Car, and fellow Team Associated driver John Walentia rounded out the top three. Luke also dominated 2WD Modified Short Course in the same fashion with his Reedy-powered SC10, except this time John Walentia finished right behind him in second place. Team Associated driver Jack Leighan won Modified Truck with his Reedy-powered T4.1. John and Luke used Big Bore shocks to great advantage.

Team Associated cars also took home the wins in the following classes:

Kyle Schoening dominated Stock Buggy with his B4.1 Worlds Car.
Privateer Mikey Brown won 4x4 Short Course.
Chris Bellanca won Stock Truck with his T4.1.
Anthony Honstain won the tiebreaker with Zane Courtway in Super Stock Buggy with Brian Shook rounding out the top three, all of which were driving B4.1 Worlds Cars.
