Cliff Lett Sets R/C Land Speed Record

Team Associated has been notified that Cliff Lett's 111 mph run at Irwindale Speedway, Irwindale, California, has been recognized and entered into the record company's databases as an officially accepted record, "The top speed ever reached by a radio controlled model car." You can read of this accomplishment in the 2003 Guinness World Records book.

Cliff's RC10L3 Oval racer made the record breaking run on January 13, 2001 and was featured in several different publications, including Radio Control Car Action, Popular Mechanics, Maxim's Stuff magazine, and Japan's RC World.
